1928 50C Hawaiian MS67+
1935 50C Hudson MS67+
1924 50C Huguenot MS68+
So far, there are no holders nor coin envelopes that have come to light. There are, however, some very rare items that do mention the coin and the Huguenot-Walloon Tercentenary Celebrations. There is a program and an invitation to the celebration printed together (the program is on one side of the paper, and the invitation on the other side). The Celebration took place in New York on May 17th - May 22nd, 1924. There are several books that describe the history of the Huguenots + Walloons, one by Antonia Froenot and another by The National Huguenot-Walloon New Netherland Commission. Letters from this Commission were sent to various groups, such as The Society of Mayflower Descendants, describing the coin and urging their members to purchase it.
This coin is the single finest example graded by PCGS. It is a 68+. Talk about luster and lack of marks, this is it. I have seen some with more vivid toning, in fact we have some duplicates in 67+ that have more color. Even still, after putting all of the parts together, the 68+ beats them all.
